I just don't get it. I have owned two sprints now, the '00 that sat in the
shop all last summer and was eventually replaced, and now the replacement '01
that I received at the end of last summer. The new one has been in the shop
about 4 times now and hasn't run properly since I picked it up. It's been in
the shop for a total of 20 days.(not including the first service interval) with
only 3200 miles on the clock. It's still in the shop now as a matter of fact
going on the third week.
If I wasn't hearing reports like the ones below I'd be test riding anything but
Triumphs right now.
I will be able to maintain control of my patience for a little while longer but
if I have any more problems after this I don't know that I'll have any choice
but to invoke the "lemon law" here in WI and kindly request my $$ back.
It really stinks because I like the bike as much as anyone else on this list
and I don't see a single thing out there that I am interested in. On the
other hand I've owned this bike/bikes for 2 years and have been able to ride it
for about 1/2 of the combined riding seasons.
Tell me I'm being unreasonable and/or it will get better & it will help me stay
rational here.
