Re: [ST] effect on tach?



Rich,

Bare's not saying that changing your sprocket ratio won't effect the amount
of revs the engine's doing at a given speed. In fact he said the exact
opposite when he said "What will change is the relationship between the
tacho (RPM) and speedo (MPH). But they both will continue with the same
errors that were originally there." So the motor will be doing more revs at
the same speed but both the tachometer and speedometer will not be reading
any more inaccurately than they were before.
