Just a thought about custom plugs. Helmets exert pressure on the ear and
deform the outer ear and possibly the outer part of the ear canal. So if the
mould for custom plugs is taken with helmet off, the fit and therefore
comfort will be compromised. You really need to wear your helmet while the
mould sets.

Me? I'm happy with Howard Leight Laser Lites. At £14 for 200 pairs I don't
need to keep them long.
