[ST] Maintenance questions

  Since the end of my warranty and 24K miles on the clock co-incided with
a little off I had, I decided that I should take the time to pull the bike
apart and do all the maintenance that I've been meaning to do for some
time.  This is all fine and good, but I've come up with a few questions
that I can't seem to answer.  If anyone here has any info that can help
me, I would REALLY appreciate it as I'm getting tired of having the bike
out of service and I want to wrap things up as soon as I can.  The
problems:
 - where do you all find metric "speed bleeders"?  It's hard to find good
help.
 - the oil drain tube coming from my air box seems to have a lot of oil in
it.  One, is the opposite end supposed to just be dangling inside the
engine compartment, or should both ends be hooked somewhere?  Two, is a
good deal of oil coming from the hose/air-box indicative of another
problem?  So far(3 weeks now), it has saturated 3 different paper towels I
have had laying on the floor beneath the hose.
 - I saw the recent post about the bad luck with EBC pads, has anyone else
had good/bad experiences, or should I just fork the extra cash and go with
OEM front pads?
 - what is a good price for the K&N air filter?  My estimates seem really
high?
