[ST] Oil Pan Help

Sorry if this reply comes in later, I just realized that I didn't adjust the
text, and AOL (curse them, why haven't I changed yet) mucks up almost all
e-mails.

Tungsten Inert Gas is correct, as per the previous listener. Many
fabrication shops have this capability, just call around. As a contractor
(doing lots of pipe and duct work), I know that this fix will work.
Basically the welder will cut out the cracked areas, or at least cut a groove
in them, and weld everything back to the way it was. In the hands of a great
welder, you will barely be able to notice the repair, in the hands of a
borderline welder, all will be well with a bit of a bump visible. Eitherway,
the repair will be just as good as new.

I suggest calling around, I bet that $50-$75 will be the charge.

Good luck
Sean
