   Welcome to the list. I also live in the SF Bay Area down around Gilroy.
Actually San Martin. I also have a 2000 ST. I changed the stock Bridgestones
for Metzeler ME-4's
at 6 K mines. Put on a new rear at 15 K miles (after a high speed run to
Colo) and an new
front at 16 K miles. Replace Me-4s with new Me-4s. I ride mostly country
roads and try to stay off the freeways if I can. I like thise tires and they
seem to wear well for me.
