yep, it's the variables that will get you, especially when we're
talking about the diminishing forces on the rear contact patch during
braking.
I wouldn't want *front* ABS necessarily (unsprung weight/control
issues, plus front-loading during braking makes it less cost-effective
anyway), but like I said, I'd pay extra for a good one on the back, as
IME ABS *will* pay for itself someday.
Also I wouldn't mind seeing a better articulated rear brake control
with more feedback. If cars had a short-throw brake pedal like that
there'd be lockups at every red light.
