[ST] For Sale: 1999 Sprint ST w/2000 Daytona engine

I've tried to post this several times -- I hope the third time is a charm
(please, no flame mail if the msg already made it through the first two
times and I just didn't see it in the digest <g>).

I'm a long-time member of the list and a charter Dawg who had a major league
accident back in June on my Honda 954RR. In order to maintain peace and
harmony at home, I'm giving up biking and as a result I have the following
Sprint ST for sale:

1999 Sprint ST. This bike was purchased new in CA in 1999. In early 2002 I
had a 2000 Daytona engine (only 6K miles) installed because the original
engine was suffering from low compression and needed a valve job.

The Daytona engine was installed by the dealer who sold it to me, and now
the bike now roars like a lion but delivers power as smooth as a baby's
bottom. Other great (and most of it new) stuff on the bike includes:

- -- Two Bros High Mount - C2 Carbon Fiber canister (new)
- -- Öhlins TR 851shock absorber (new)
- -- Race Tech Gold Valves and springs (new)
- -- New front- and rear sprockets
- -- New DID gold chain
- -- K&N filter
- -- Near new front and rear tires
- -- Heated Handgrips
- -- Custom seat by Sergeant
- -- Jack Lilly Carbon Fiber belly pans, front fender, and rear hugger
- -- PIAA 1100X Platinum driving lamps
- -- New EBC front rotors and brake pads
- -- Radiator (replaced under warranty in 2001)

The bike is in excellent shape. The only thing to note is an amateur paint
job (gun metal gray color, high quality paint & clear coat, just not a
professional quality job). I did it myself in a moment of temporary insanity
the winter of 2001--what can I say, winters are cold and lonely in
Minnesota. If you wanted to repaint, you only have to do the tank and side
panels since the underbelly pans, front- and rear fenders are carbon fiber.

Price: I'm a motivated seller, so make me an offer, or tell a friend who is
looking to step up to a seriously fast and comfortable mile eater!
