I bought the PC version for my mother. It works well.

I'm saving $$ for the IPAQ version as well.  The sleeve handles a Type II 
compactflash, so that means you can use the IBM 1GB Microdrive, which should 
(in theory) support a large geographic area (depending on the ammount of 
extra info you take along, like Hotels, Gas stations, etc.

There are bar-mounts (RAM Mounts?) for the IPAQ, and if vibration is a 
concern, Solid state CF memory is available in high capacity (512 or 1GB) as 
well.  The latest IPAQ's also have SD Ram slots for additional memory.  
Current size is up to 256MB or 512MB, I believe.

Plus, you can also listen to MP3's while you ride!
