15W-40 is a common weight for deisel oils.

You are 100 percent correct the factory book does say exactly what you
state. My point is that the Triumph branded Mobil 1 IS the UK Mobil 1
Racing 4T, re-badged for sale in the US under an exclusive arrangement with
Triumph and it is a 15-50wt. And strange but I've never seen a 15-40wt has
anyone?
