The rear brake on my 2000 ST seems very poor. I need to really stand on it 
to have any effect. While this is very good at preventing lock up, it is not 
much good for stopping.
Since the basic componets look to be quality, I think change pads would 
make the rear more sensitive (powerful?). My guess is that Triumph may 
have changed the rear pad material on newer bikes.
