RE: [ST] I'm new here....



Welcome Bruce.  I've put alittle over 65,000 miles on 2 Sprint STs in 4
years.  A '99 and now an '02.  Reliability was as good as any Japanese bike
could have been.  It's a fun, and practical bike.  Better specs than a VFR,
and cheaper insurance too.  I'd suggest riding them to find what really fits
you best though.  Triumph has a standing policy about allowing anyone with a
valid motorcycle license and over 25 years of age, who wants to test ride
one.  Check 'em out.

The shifting was improved for the '02 model, and the 10 hp gain is nice, but
not so important you should ignore a good deal for an earlier one.
