Re: [ST] Official Results HP/Torque

Logically, most of your gain should have come from the software update. To
have installed a low restriction exhaust and gained nothing at high rpm,
where flow and therefore restriction is greatest, says that there is a more
severe restriction elsewhere. My guess is the airbox or throttle bodies.
Since the Daytona apparently uses the same heads and produces 29 more HP,
the restriction should not be the heads. In my experience with cars, a
camshaft has not been a restriction causing the kind of results you got
(plus my RS is still pulling at the rev limiter). A study of the parts
fiche, should give a clue where the restriction is.

Yes, but I'm interested in seeing what other people can get/have gotten
with
other exhausts using the Triumph performance software. I would like to
either identify directly or infer indirectly how much gain was due to the
exhaust and how much was due to the software.

Anyone out there have Triumph performance software numbers with any exhaust?

Chris
