Re: [ST] setting up BC800

Ok what it wants is millimeters. you put in the nearest value. after that what it does is count revolutions per minute and multiply that by the circumference, and then convert to kph/mph. once you set it up, the instructions also tell you how to switch between kph and mph.

Hey all,

Finally found a Sigma BC800 bicycle computer so I can find out how off my
speedo is, and enjoy the other functions. But I'm stuck on how to set the
wheel circumference in the thing so it reads out in MPH...

I wrapped a string around the front wheel, measured that at 75 1/4". I
think the instructions are telling me to enter the value in mm, so that's
1911.35, which I assume rounds to 1911. But I'm not sure that's the final
value, the instructions are weird in that they are calculating
circ. instead of measuring then adding something.

Anyone know what this thing wants?
