One word:  electrics.

A vest or jacket liner will keep your core toasty, which will keep your
hands and extremeties warm.  Heated grips, if you want to go all the
way.

The other thing is to keep wind off you, which sounds like the
motoport jacket does.  Once you get some windproof pants, you'll be
even better off.
