Just broke in a new pair of the Joe Rocket Dry-Tec gloves. At least I
think that's what they call 'em. Says it has multi layer waterproofing,
has gel in the palms, and nylon like gaunlets that can be cinched up to
keep snow and hopefully water out. They did keep my hands warm and dry in
a light rain for several hours so far...

Side note: tried Olympia's Monsoon glove, a warm weather glove that did
keep my hands dry except for the sweat/clammy-ness of being trapped in
their liner, which likes to pull out of the fingers making it tough to get
back on after a gas stop. Save your money on those.

I've used a First Gear rain jacket the last 3-4 years. It's lined with
some sort of tafetta, folds up into it's own built in pouch in the fanny
area, makes a nice little package.

Pants are First Gear Hypertex insulated/armored, have been waterproof so
far (end of second season) so I don't need rainpants. They are
comfortable into the upper 30's, I've worn 'em in excess of 105 degrees
too. They were warm in the summer but with shorts under I've gotten used
to 'em and they don't seem to bother me anymore, and they keep the engine
heat off nicely.

Another rain item: VeeWipes from RiderWearhouse...get 'em!

FWIW, HIH, etc.
