[ST] Rear brake pad wear

I remember some listers reporting rapid or uneven rear brake pad wear (on my
ST they were replaced at 12K).  I've just seen the same problem mentioned in
a BMW R series tech guide. "Warning: Due to a sticky rear brake retaining
pin, the rear pads can wear out in only a few thousand miles. Clean the pin
with fine emery paper and lube it with anti-seize. "

What's anti-seize?  Is it copper grease?
