i don't have a manual, but i have a stubby Phillips screwdriver. i can sit in the saddle, move the bars out of the way, and crank the adjuster on the back of the headlight assembly 'to suit'.
i found a dark straight road and aimed the high beam for maximum 'out there' illumination [it's a wide-sideways, fairly narrow up/down pattern], and let low beam fall wherever - it came out fine.
i also added a PIAA 1202 on the right fork leg. everybody i have been behind [that's a long list] has remarked on how visible i was in their mirror. it may even help the soccer mom on the phone in the minivan spot me...as long as i keep the Walmart bags off it...
cheers
