[ST] Good news on one front

For those of you that don't know the saga of my previous ST. Last
September a woman made a left turn in front of me. My old "Blue Devil"
was totaled, and the only piece of leather that was unscathed was my
left glove. Her insurance company felt that I was partially to blame and
offered only 75% of my deductible. Thirteen and a half months later, it
finally went into arbitration. The final determination was 90%. I will
soon be getting two checks! One for the bikes deductible and another for
my protective gear, or as my insurance company calls it, clothing.

The bad news part: Last week I get a letter from a collection agency
with regards to the bill for the doctor that treated me at the
emergency room. It seems that neither my health nor vehicle insurance
company paid them.

And so, the saga continues.

Insurance is nothing more than legalized gambling where the house will
go to all sorts of lengths and spend inordinate amounts of money to make
sure that they always win.
