www.motorcycleshow.com , my canadi(a|e)n friend.

As far as vest vs jacket liner, while I haven't tried a full liner, I
have no problems with my Eclipse vest. I rode many days last winter in
the 30's, and one morning at Big Bend Nat Park it was 26F, and I stayed
warm--well, as warm as can be expected after sleeping in a tent and
breaking camp while it's 26 freaking degrees outside.

To me, the biggest thing is to make sure your jacket and gloves keep
wind out. That saps your heat very quickly. I also wear a cheap little
$2.99 neck gaiter that I boght in the hunting dept at WallyWorld.

If you can keep the wind off you, a heated vest will keep you plenty
warm.

Brian
