[ST] Scraped Mirror - Daring High speed turn!

I have scraped up the black plastic stuff which comprises the outside of the 
rear view mirror housing.  I have a 2001 Sprint ST (BRG).  I would like to 
say that this is from really agressive riding with my sticky new tires.  But 
it is really just from a miscalculation while putting it on the center stand 
near my garage wall.  Anyone know how I can polish out or clean up this 
mirror housing?
