WTF? Please forgive my my ignorance, but what the heck is:
1)a lipseal? (I'm assuming that's not chapstick.)
2)an ally bush? (As opposed to an axis bush?)

1) An oilseal or grease seal, usually pressed into a bore with a thin inside
lip or lips which runs on  and seals  a rotating or sliding shaft - either
stopping oil coming out or crud going in.
2) Slang for aluminium (or aluminum USA ) bush - the bit that fall out when
you take the wheels out, and keep falling out when you try and put the
wheels back in.
Seems strange that soft unlubricated rubber seals wear aluminium, but that
seems to be the way it is.
They also wear grooves in the plastic of the speedo drive if not greased.

BTW What's a chapstick - something that  blokes eat rice with?
