Re[2]: [ST] Gameboy Substitute??

But the question is: if you are not a Triumph shop, can you get the
tunes from Triumph to download with the TuneBoy? Lisa didn't mention
if this mechanic is an authorized Triumph shop. It seems to me that
it's not much use for non-factory shop use if they can't get the
official binary distribution from Triumph. It's useful for modifying
the factory tune, of course, which is why many folks buy it.

It has a save current map option so that you can save whatever is in the
bike, then goof with the tune, if you make a mistake, erase and reload,
start over. If your talking about brand new tunes from Triumph, yeah there
are nice to have, but it's not like the old tunes are bad. T595net has a
file swapping area that some guys are posting up the maps they have made up
for their purposes. If more folks could do this, it could get very
interesting. The Tuneboy will do engine diagnostics as well, so you can
read fail messages just like the dealer Gameboy can. A neat tool.
