[ST] gas tank removal question

I am taking my tank off my bike and I am looking for the recommended method
to drain the fuel.  On my old bike (carburated) it was a simple task. The 
ST has several hoses and I am not interested in spilling gas all over.
The tank isn't going back on the bike or I would just leave the fuel in it.
