[ST] Re: valve train trouble



Dan,
I had the same problem with mine.  However I was lucky enough not to
strip them.  I believe the service manual is WRONG when it specs 25NM
for those 2 bolts.  I can't understand why they should be torqued any
more than the rest of the cam cover bolts.  The older T3's didn't need
different torque on those 2 bolts.  I torqued them the same as the rest
(15NM?) and haven't had a problem with them.  

Hope you can get those threads fixed somehow.  That was exactly what I
was hoping to avoid when I was reassembling mine.  Guess I got lucky...
