[ST] Reason No. 417 For Wearing A Helmet...

I actually saw this happen. I was entering Rt.8N in Waterbury, 
Connecticut on Saturday morning when I noticed two doo-rag wearing 
(helmetless), American-made-bike (H-D) riding guys just ahead of me. 
This is quite common in CT, being a state without a helmet law. I see a 
pigeon on a death mission approach and smack one of these guys in the 
head. The guy looks at his friend while laughing and rubbing his head.

Hmmmmm. Thick skull maybe?

It gets me wondering. How many people would wear helmets in a lawless 
society? (No need to answer. Just a hypothetical question. No. Really. I 
do not want to start a new thread. I mean that. Do not answer that 
question.)

A minute after witnessing this event, as I'm riding my British-made 
bike, the next song that comes up on the MP3 player is the Sex Pistols' 
"Anarchy in the UK."

I love irony.
