RE: [ST] rear brake changing question

While it's easier to work on the rear brake with the wheel off, you can get
to the bolts with the wheel on.

Subject: [ST] rear brake changing question

I need to replace my rear pads. I went to go at it the other day, and it
appears that I can't get at the bolts without removing the rear tire. Is
this true? I'm thinking that maybe losening the chain would give access, but
I haven't had time to try that yet. Has anyone replaced their rear pads with
the tire on?

Thanks,

Chris Strizver
