Re: [ST] Gear ratios year to year



I agree that changing the rear sprocket is better for the chain but in the
event the chain is not long enough, then down one in front is an option.  I
was only considering that option because I thought my 02 ST has a 19 tooth
countershaft.  Now I hear that it is 18.  I guess I will go up teeth in the
back if a change is made.

Are the 2002 ST models geared lower than 2001s? (overall)  In 6th at an
indicated 4000 RPM the indicated speed is about 72.  How does that compare?
