Same thing happened to me once. I was riding with some friends and we 
went up in the mountains first thing in the morning to have breakfast at 
a resort. After I'd parked the bike we stood around for a few minutes, 
talking about the ride, when one of the other guys pointed out the small 
puddle under my bike.

I took the side fairings off and tried to find out where the coolant had 
come from, but had no luck. I couldn't see anyplace that looked like it 
had leaked recently, but I definitely saw coolant in my belly pan and on 
the ground.

I took it to the dealer and asked them to check out the cooling system. 
They did a pressure test and couldn't make it leak. This was back in 
2001, and it hasn't happened since.
