Re: [ST] Tire question and Brief Ride Report



Thanks, We had a combined weight of about 400 pounds with gear and
luggage.  I realize this is a great deal of weight.  I have the rear
shock maxied out on preload and the damping about 75% I would guess.  At
some point I will want a heavier shock.

I don't feel I have an over active throttle but it is all relative.  We
did do a lot of high speed miles averaging just over 60 mph on the way
home with fuel stops for 200 miles.  Not for me but one of the other
bikes was a honda Hawk.  I was very impressed with the fuel economy at
high speeds.
