Couldn't agree more with Scott's recommendations for touring except for the
above one. I am sure ibuprofen (Advil and Motrin) might make those with
arthritic tendencies more comfortable, but it is not a good substance to have
in your bloodstream if you have a get-off and land on your head. Like
asoirin, it interferes with platelet function, and platelets are essential to
make your blood clot. Well-clotting blood is nice to have if you suffer a
head injury, as it will seal up injured bood vessels in and around your
brain, decreasing the liklihood of a hemorrhage inside your skull. Dave
