[ST] Is there such a thing as Triumph break-in Oil?

Picked up a 2002 Sprint RS w/ 5 miles on it this wknd
from Charlotte, NC.

Normally I'd ride the bike for 100 miles and swap in
new dino oil, ride a couple hundred more and repeat
the process and eventually run Synthetic of choice.
Basically thinking, the more clean oil u can cycle
through that engine, the more particles and metal
shavings will be cleansed.

But when I brought this up to the seller (a private
seller, not a dealer) he said that he heard Triumph
formulated a specific Synthetic break-in oil that
should be left in for 500 or so miles to seat the
rings properly etc. etc. And then go with Mobil 1
Synthetic oil from there on out.

I don't want to debate different syn. oils etc. etc.
but is there a specific break-in oil in my bike right
now? If I swap it out am I doing more harm than good
if I swap in Dino Oil as I'd think full Synthetic
would do much to break in the engine? (triumph says
the engine is made to run on Synthetic).

It just seems to me that Synthetic break-in oil is a
bit of an oxymoron, as synthetic oil is synonymous
with protecting and lubricating, instead or breaking
in.

Thanks for any comments and advice.

Bryce
