It would not be a bad thing, but based on my '02 RS it would not be
unnecessary.  Most other Triumphs that have followed the break-in schedule
including the oil change have resulted in engines that burn NO oil.  

I'll bet the "Running-in Oil" has no detergent and few friction modifiers. 
If so, it would follow the practice of other engine manufacturers like
Lycoming and Continental.

So would it be a bad thing if u swap the break-in oil
for another batch fo regular dino oil b4 swapping in
the synthetic later on?

I wonder how much diff. there is between dino oil and
Triumph's break-in dino oil?  ya know?
