RE: [ST] New ST owner - questions

George Cope WROTE: After "just OK" performance from Dunlop 207's, I switched
to Bridgestone BT
020's. I love 'em. I am expecting better mileage too. Most of the 12
Triumphs on last weekend's RAT ride were on Bridgestones. The Daytona guys
rode BT 010's and the ST's and RS's had BT 020's. Good luck.

George,

I think my RS came stock with BT 020's not sure I don't remember, but they
were Bridgestone. Anyway I do remember that I only got 7900 miles out of
the stock tires. Last year I replaced them with Michelin Macadem 100X and
they are awsome! Good handling and I have 9200 miles on them. Starting to
really push the tread depth on the rear now though. It's time for a change,
as I wouldn't ride it in the rain now - but the tread is still good for dry
ground. Unfortunately the 100X's were discontinued. They've replaced them
with the Pilot Road's. I'm hoping that the migration from 90X to 100X to
Road's just keep improving because I bought Pilot Road's this time.

Next year we'll know if the milage got better & hopefully they don't
discontinue them too.
