RE: [ST] Frame sliders



I had not seen that pic before.  I'm sorry to see the frame sheared.  I
think that is an advantage of the Sky King design.  The plastic wear
"button" is cantilevered off of the frame bolt and thereby has some flex
available to cushion the initial impact.

Looks like that frame is toast!  Sorry to bring it up old memories, Brian,
but would you remind us of what you think about it all?  E.g., are you
against all frame sliders, do you not like the JLs (why), was the impact
such that it would have caused any frame slider to break the frame, was it a
fluke, ...
