RE: [ST] Aftermarket Grips

Go for heated grips! I've never actually measured, but when I got the
heated grips installed, they immediately felt a bit thicker - which I
immediately liked, and still do. Plus, I would have thought that heated
grips were a little frivolous, but no that I have them I can't tell you how
many times I was so glad to have them, and made my riding so much more
enjoyable. Just a thought!

Subject: [ST] Aftermarket Grips

I think I want larger diameter grips for my RS. Seems I have to close my
hand too far to hang on and my hands get tired on long rides.

I've seen various references to ProGrips, but it wasn't obvious to me
whether they are larger diameter than stock or not. I see a 22-25mm spec,
but suspect that's inner/bar diameter. How much larger is the outer
diameter?

Suggestions welcome. Also, any installation tips welcome.

Garry
