The Sports Bike World report is interesting, but if you read the 
Bridgestone report (BT-010s fitted after they tried the Michelin) they have 
this to say about the Michelins:
"They got our vote, but only if you can afford to pay for new tyres every 
2000 miles. Superbike magazine also commented (after us it has to be said), 
that their TL1000R, equipped with the Michelins, also went off after 2000 
miles."

It seems that they were great for 2k, then went "off" very rapidly indeed.

But that's only their opinion ....
