I haven't had a chance to take the bike for a spin yet. But what I'm
>thinking is, the bike is no longer charging the battery. Does anybody know
>of a way to test this or do I need to take it back to the dealer?
1. Hook a voltmeter to your battery. Note the voltage. Should be about 12V. 2. Start the engine. Note the voltage while you're cranking. It shouldn't change much. If it drops a couple of volts or so, you're battery is dying. 3. After it's running, rev it to about 3000rpm. Check your voltage. Should be 13.5-14.2V. If it is there, your charging system is working. If it stays at about the same as your original voltage, it's not charging.
