aiy, the easiest way to get the bike onto the center stand with
a block, is to roll the bike onto a couple of blocks. I am a
bigger guy, so I do not need as much help, but I will roll any
bike with a center stand onto two 1/6's or pieces of plywood
(what ever happens to be closest at hand) and then I have a
couple of pieces of plywood screwed together for under the
center stand. If you need more help, I would suggest making a
couple of mini ramps for the wheels. Two sets of 1x8, consisting
of a 8", 12" and 16" piece (Home depot will cut the wood for
you) then glue or screw then together. With the bike on the side
stand, place each ramp in front of a wheel. Then push the bike
up. You may want a forth block for the side stand while you are
positioning the block for the center stand.

Of course, YMMV.

BTW, for changing the oil, having the bike on the center and
front wheel blocks, makes it a lot easier to get the oil pan
under the bike.

cheers,
Tom
