I simply added the two relays but haven't altered the lens (of the right
headlight I guess in my case). I assume this is still set-up to focus for
high beam only, and changing it is not something I had previously thought
of doing. Did you get a new headlight or just the lens? From a Triumph
dealer or direct from Hella/Bosch? Sorry about all the questions, but
you've got me thinking ... always dangerous.

I don't think so - you just need to add the additional relays to get
"proper" lighting.

It is not yet compulsory to be riding with lights on in the UK - in fact
there appears to be more evidence each year that riding with lights on in
bright sunlight reduces visibility of the biker. However, that's another
argument. ;-)
