[ST] Removing any type of sticker from bodywork

Hello all:
To remove any sticker, put the bike out in strong sunlight to get the adhesive of the decal to soften up. A blowdryer will do the same thing. Carefully lift the edges of the decal with a razor blade. Start around the top and work all the way around. Once you have about a half inch peeled back, drizzle some Mineral Spirit in between the decal and the bodywork. Allow to sit for a few minutes. Use a stiff brush as long as you can work carefully and NOT scratch the bodywork as you "massage" the mineral spirits into the adhesive on the rear of the decal. Peel back the decal some more.......the mineral spirit will break down the adhesive and allow the decal to "release". Continue this until you have the entire thing off the bike.
Put the bike in the shade for the next step. Wet a paper towel with mineral spirit and place over the surface where the decal was located. The mineral spirit (paint thinner) will permit the paper towel to stick to the surface of the fairing. Use a clean dry cloth/rag or paper towel and use a circular motion as you wipe off the adhesive residue. Take your time as you must repeat this process until all of the residue is gone.
The mineral spirit WILL NOT interact with the paint or the clearcoat on the bike. Take your time and you will complete the job in an hour.
