Hi Craig,
Anything over 4-5 thou out will result in some pulsing. I suspect you will
even see slightly darker or "bluer" areas on a disk that is out by 7 thou.
The Floating disks of the ST/RS will allow for smooth breaking when the
rotors are slightly out, but after 5 thou, it is time to change the rotors.
I have tried to resurface (grind) the rotors on my personal Speed 3 in the
past, but the warp returned the next time I took a spirited ride.
