Don't know much about Chatterbox. Autocom http://www.autocom.co.uk/
is the industry leader in the UK.

The "secret" the dedicated systems have is that ........ it is dead
easy to send a signal from one bike mounted headset to another. What
is not so easy to to eliminate the noise from that signal i.e. the
wind noise from the helmet, engine noise etc.

I have ridden at some significant speed with a friend who rides a
with an open face helmet, a UK police class I rider, and with the
Autocom system at both ends the communication was crystal clear.

I suppose the best test is to buy a couple of PMR (or in the US
"FRS") systems with their Vox headsets (that will be compatible with
your likely bike designed purchase) and if you are dissatisfied then
look at ways of achieving noise reduction with Cheterbox, Autocom or
whatever other systems are available.
