I'd recommed the $$$ for the Autocom.  I had a Chatterbox, and it wasn't 
that good.  Poor reception and range.  With the Autocom, you use your own 
set of 2-way radio (Motorola, etc), you can hook up an FM Radio or MP3 
player (I'm using an IPAQ with music and GPS) as well as a cell phone.  The 
phone works well.  The audio quality for music isn't that great, but beats 
the Chatterbox.

The VOX on the Autocom is way better than the Chatterbox too.
