RE: [ST] Moron #99



Very good article.  The few times I have allowed myself to really get ticked
and shake my finger (index, not middle, plus I do it in a "that's not nice,
child" manner) the cager is usually bewildered as to why.  I never do that
if I'm carrying  a lot more speed than the cage, as I know how hard it is to
see us when we come up on someone fast from behind.

One thing that has helped in rush hour traffic, however, is to put my arm
down and wave backwards in a "back off" manner.  Cagers don't understand we
want more distance between vehicles than cars, and not LESS!  Invariably,
the cager backs off, then I immediately wave a "thank you" hi in the air.
Yes, I know this probably wouldn't work in California or in a really large
metropolis.
