Her primary objection is the AMA's past association/alliance in the off-road 
arena with certain groups/orgs who are (loosely) part of/identified with the 
so-called "Wise-Use" movement w/regards to public lands management.

So, we are to sacrifice our ability to have an effect on government 
regulations on ALL street riding on account of policies affecting the 
off-road segment?

Divide and Conquer.  We are surely falling directly into the enemies hands.
