Chris,

When I said I paid the dealer $27/wheel for mounting and
balancing a tire I did not buy from him, I meant that I
brought them the wheel off the bike. I don't know what my
dealer would charge if he had to R&R the wheel from the
bike, but there would certainly be more labor involved in
that case.  It still seems $145 is expensive, even when
including the R&R labor.
