Lou,
My comment was referring to the bolt patterns etc., which are the
same.  Not owning a RS, I don't have personal experience.
Visually, the main difference is in the rise of the bars.  I'd be
surprised if there were clearance issues.  I seem to recall that
someone on the list has installed RS bars on an ST.  LiSTeRS???
