RE: [ST] Tom and his FJR vs. Your Sprint

My take on this whole sordid affair:

The Sprint ST (and RS!) is a great motorcycle. The FJR is also a great
motorcycle. They are different motorcycles, with different features and
styling, and appeal to different motorcyclists who ride them.

And, there are two types motorcyclists. Ones who think there are two types
of motorcyclists and ones who don't. ;)

In THIS country, we have a large number of Harley riders who believe even an
ST is a "croth rocket" and owners of such should go get a "real bike". I
like most every kind of bike, but Triumph is making the ones *I* like and
ride right now. Plus, I must be one of those Power Rangers, as I always wear
protective gear. So be it.

What a waste of bandwidth this is.

I cannot believe you guys from over the pond.
Here in England there are two types of motorcyclists, ones who ride bikes
(bikers), the others ride JapScrap.
I have an FXDWG for summer use and a Sprint ST for a winter hack. Only at
the weekends, if they are warm, do the power-rangers venture out to show off
their matching leathers and latest toys.
If someone thinks his latest "Honzuki" is the best thing, let him waste his
time, then simply take the piss. He'll soon realise the error of his ways.
