[ST] ST bar wooble

Hi All

I'm getting old and the memory is going so I need help.

Had a problem with the ST since a trip to the Black Forest in October. At
about 30MPH the bars start to wooble back and forwards when you take your
hands off, stops with only slight hand pressure, the speed of the wooble
increases up to about 70MPH when you dont notice anymore.

While I was in Germany a dealer changed the back wheel bearings and adjusted
the head stock which seemed to solve the problem. However the bikes just
been serviced and the UK dealer said the head stock was to tight and could
not adjust it, thinking the German had damaged the bearings they have been
replaced but we still have the wooble.

Now my failing memory says that a couple of years back other people had the
problem and it was caused by the then new BT020's, am I right or has anbody
got any other suggestions.

Don
